So we're in the same position we've been in over and over with the Capitals.
Caps and Pens in a matchup that's seen Washington win all but nine of the ten playoff meetings they've had (see what I did there?).
I'm always pushing the "friendzone" with our teams here in DC. I know, I can catch feelings just like you. I've convinced myself this Caps team is different.
Maybe it's the lower expectations, maybe it's just more experience, or maybe, it was the first round adversity they overcame.
Maybe this time...it'll be different.
